bruton is a beast

Seriously, on basically every special teams play, all I do is watch David Bruton. It's awesome.

Now, how can the coaches get Bruton's effort and ability on special teams plays to become regular contributors to the defense? He has made a few plays on D this year, but I see him on ST and think to myself that this man could be a very special Safety if he put it all together...Here's hoping that Bruton is next year's Zibby circa 2004/2005...

Still, the free safety position has not been one regularly called upon this season, so it's hard to say how well he "get it." I mean, teams regularly just run the ball down our throat, and throw passes to wide open players along the edges. We really haven't given up many long passes, or passes over the middle. It's hard to judge exactly how much Bruton has improved. I'd have to watch film and watch specifically him to tell, because the regular game action isn't usually very close to him.

Nice points. There's no doubt, though, that he's a simply incredible athlete.
