Ok. I have tried to stay positive. I record the games when I can't watch them live. Then I'll avoid any sports or talking to people who know what happened so as not to spoil it for me. I'll sit and watch every agonizing play even though I can FF it and be out of my misery sooner.
But enough is enough!! Offensive Genius, NOT !!!!! Predictable, most certianly.

Come on dude. Those were some of the most revered players ND has had in a while. The UofA put up points on SC!!! Are you telling me that the stinking UofA has a better play caller than our Offensive Guru? If that's the case, Stoops will surely be available after this season. Maybe we can bring him aboard.

I'll get off mine now. The anticipation for this season was so just soooo high, that crashing so fast has left me in a catatonic stupor.

And most were not that good. You had two stars: Quinn and Samardzija. Feel free to name another true "star" on the team. A true difference maker?

McKnight? Please...he was a joke and wasn't half the player Stovall was.
Walker? Dear God. Don't get me started on him. He was a great blocker and receiver. But he was slow as hell and, like McKnight, did not get drafted for a reason.
Abiamiri? All his sacks came against BAD BAD BAD teams.

No. They have more talent in the top 3 classes though.

It showed that when you compare the MAC teams we talked about we are faring better than they are against common opponents.

Right....and my point was that our offense can't even perform to the level of the MAC teams against common opponents, which they haven't. I never said that MAC teams were better than us (though many probably are,) but that they performed better offensively than we did. Again, thanks for saving me the time and putting up the stats to prove my point. :)

And how the hell could we be faring better against any common opponents when we have beaten a whopping ONE team 8 games into the season? If there is some team out there that we are "faring better than" then that's really grasping for straws.

We are not getting blown out as badly as they are...and even if a "loss is a loss" it does show that teams with similar talent are faring the same against this competition.
