Hey, we are a group of young Irish guys over from Dublin for the Irish game on Nov. 10th and was wondering if you could tell us where to go to party before and after the game... We are pretty stereotypically Irish - young, single, fond of a few jars and basically gauranteed to enhance any party.... So, given that the fun at these events is legendary, we want to maximise the weekend. We are arrive from NY on Sat morning and want to get pretty much stuck in straight away... Any suggestions for before and after match craic would be much appreciated... many thanks!!!

My Recommendations.....

Pre-Game or Post-Game: The Linebacker Lounge Linebacker Lounge: A tradition in South Bend, located across from the campus of Notre Dame!

Post-Game: Corby's 441 E LA Salle Ave
South Bend, IN 46617

This are the traditional ND hangouts, yes--so go here if you want the whole experience.

Other options:
Legends: the only on-campus bar, south parking lot of the stadium (opened my senior year--2004)

Mishawaka Brewing Company: Awesome microbrews. Two favorites: Wall St Wheat and Four Horsemen PA

Fiddler's Hearth: You probably won't want to go here, but if you're looking for America's version of an Irish Pub, it's on 31 in downtown South Bend

Let me know if you need more info.

If you guys want want to stop by our tailgate party for some FREE food and drink, before the game, PM me for my cell phone number or email. We are in the Library lot (Touchdown Jesus), about a block from the stadium. FYI... I have family in Cork.
