Time to start networking Charlie boy. Your team still shows no evidence of fundamental football. That is evidence of gross negligence on your part.

Gross negligence.

I wish I had a coach who has led a once proud program to the most humiliated program ever? Don't think so.

No. you are an idiot for even thinking tht. He is a mastermind but his highly recruitied prospects just arent playing well, tht's not his fault. He proved he could take a mediocre player and make him a star(see Brady quinn and Tom brady). There is no way he resigns nor to i believe that he should.

I don't even count the juniors as CW's class. The guy barely had a chance to recruit that year but from what I've seen from the freshman and sophmores I'm feeling good.

I agree. The playcalling is still so frustrating though.

In 2 Years all you Kool-Aid Drinkers will be running down Weis after he is gone, the same way you trash Willingham. Nice double standard, Keeping the status quo is fine and dandy, as long as you fire the black guy right?

See, anyone with any personal opinion other than "We're the best!! Rah Rah!!! We're ranked #3!!!!!!!(In Indiana) Go Team" blind sheep crap that can't wake up and smell the coffee, is considered an idiot around here.

So keep on believing what you tell yourselves, do things the way you do them, and keep your noses in the air, striving for mediocrity in the shadows of what has become "Fourth Down Jesus"

I will log back on IrishOrange. There is hope for ND as long as you keep posting.

Weis and the coaches are not out there playing. I can tell that the guys that want CW fired have never play at D1 level and have no clue. It is up to the players to make plays. The teams that are beating better teams(maybe once) the PLAYERS are making plays not the coaches.

Talk about blind sheep...the race issue was brought up by the media, yet it had nothing to do with why the former coach was fired. So you keep taking in mouthfuls of what the WWL and their ilk feed you.

If it was a race thing then why was TW allowed on all sorts of golf cousres in Indiana and all over the midwest. Race Card = Lame Argument.

If notre dame was racist, they would have given Ty a "fair shake", but they wouldnt have ever hired him. There are great black coaches around college football. Some even work at notre dame (hey, look at Corwin Brown, I wonder how racist he thinks ND is). Instead of slam notre dame for a "double standard", why not push these other schools who blatantly pass over black coaches. How many black head coaches are in the SEC? SEC is "SECond to None" so why no black head coaches? If you are honest about the race argument, then use it for the betterment of black coaches; don't make it detrimental to their cause.

So are you saying Weis brought on players that have earned the worst stats in college football and the worst record in ND football history? So Weis cannot recruit then. It's not the coaching, it's not playcalling. It's the athletes. Didn't Weis recruit them? Didn't White hire Weis?

I'm not going to say eqaulity is live and kicking. There is discrimination in this country today. However, it has nothing to do with a wealthy black man being fired. If you are so altruistic, why not go to a news website and post your opinion on the "Jena 6".

Bad choice of words, I'd assume.

Racism is still a problem in America, but Ty being fired isn't a case of it...at all.

I wasn't aware that Golf Courses in the midwest were "Whites Only"

Well your saying ND is racist so I guess then Indiana is racist along with the rest of the midwest. The reason why Ty was fired was because he would rather spend the majority of the time on the golf course. Obviously if it were a race issue and people were racist then I guess he wouldn't be doing so much golfing.
