There is a difference between ranking and rating...

1St. If you offer as proof the 62nd place Sagarin ranking of
Weis vs Ty's 55th strength of schedule as proof, PLEASE do
not refer to them as a RATING. It is a RANKING.

2nd If you offer this as proof, PLEASE give credit to the
original author (Pat Forde) and STOP passing it off as
your stuff.

3rd. If you offer as proof the 62nd vs 55th rankings, PLEASE
read the material to be sure to note that this ranking
difference ONLY represents a 1.08% difference in the
actual ratings or 0.76 pt.

A 1.08% percentage difference or 0.76 actual point difference
does not make a very convincing argument...Tom

So much posting about Ty Willingham and Pat Forde. so little posting about Weis carving his name into Notre Dame history week after week after week for reasons that would leave just about any other coach in the universe jobless.

Interesting.

Willingham led us into this mess...it will take time to clean it up. We knew this going into it, it's no secret.
