I really don't know what to say. All I needed was one win to be content and we get swept. I don't get this team at all. We put up 147 runs against the White Sox then get two near no-hitters thrown at us. How is is that this team can't get up for a game against the Yanks? Has free agency killed this rivalry? Do the Sox even somewhat dislike the Yanks anymore? What the hell!!!!

I really hope the Sox get to face the D-Rays and White Sox in the playoffs....otherwise we're gonna find our way swept right out of the post season.

Atleast Coco and Lugo look like they are trying. I am totally sickened by Drew, talk about a trash player. I understand that some guys don't really ever show emotion and its not their thing to let situations get the better of them, but I would just love to see him throw a bat or slam his helmet down after one of the many times he fails to come through in the clutch.

I don't know about the rest of you Sox fans (john feel free to throw in your opinion too) but there have been plenty of years where the team has frustrated the hell out of me, but it just seems this one is by far one of the worst because we should be absolutely running away with this thing. We have a killer staff and a 100 + million ball club....the results are far from meeting even conservative expectations.

My thoughts exaclty Newc. We can't hit worth two cents save for may 3 players. They don't show up against the good teams. We are not going to be playing the D-Rays and White Sox in the playoffs.

Remember the Sox came in third last year without making the playoffs and that is hilarious to me, and now you're in first place but still only the second best team in the east.

ND football and Fantasy Football took over my attention the past two weeks and since then the young'ns been representin'...

Ellsbury has been a beast!!! No hitters!!! Pedoria is ROY no doubt....

Yea, Ellsbury is looking absolutely nasty out there. He's got the range to get to any ball and has been handling the bat MUCH better than I expected...3-3 last night with a homer I believe...not too shabby.

Like I've said before, Pedroia is down right rediculous. I will admitt, I was very scared when we let Loretta go, I really do like him as a player and wasn't sure that Pedroia would be able to fill the posiion. Wow, I couldn't have been more wrong. Out of the whole team he has been the most fun to watch and root for, this kid is going to be something special for years to come.

And how about the no hitter from Bucholtz??? Hughes who? Jaba What? Thats right Yanks fans, we have some hurlers too and they are looking lights out!!

This is the first time in a while that I am really excited about the Sox going forward. We have such a core of young players that should really stay with this club for a long long time. I think the Sox run of AL East titles has just begun...all we need to do is get that Drew character out of Boston and let Jacoby fill in.

We went to the game Thursday night in Baltimore....when he grounded into the inning ending double play with bases loaded, I was frigging furious.

Good time otherwise....always nice to be in an away stadium and here the crowd cheer when a Boston fielder catches a fly to end the home side's inning. LOADED with Sox fans. Got see Bucholz in his first action (I think) since the no hitter. Got a huge round of applause from the Boston faithful in attendance....same when Ellsbury came in to pinch-hit.

And the 7-6 win with the GWR happening in the 9th was awesome.....Oh, and Papi's shot out to right field was a friggin' rocket!
