I'm probably just stupid, but what is the point taking a 1/2 bet? Win half your money??? What am I missing?

No...you win .50 per dollar bet. So if you were to bet a dollar on Penn State you would win 1.50.

You candy asses betting both ways make me sick. Vote your conscience. If someone was holding a gun to your head and another guy has a blade to your throat and they asked you which way do want to die...

Do you say..."Both Please".

People make me sick.

:p

I picked LSU to win at 2/3. Bet 20,000, and won 13,333. What is the point?? Anyone? Why even have 1/1 bets or worse? I've noticed it quite a few times, something seems wrong with it. Click on the outcomes (Penn State wins, etc), and it shows who *won*. If its a 1/1 bet on here, you either break even or lose it all.

No, you won 13,333, but you also got your bet back. You turned your 20,000 into 33,333. if the odds are 1/1, you either lose your money or double it. Your payout includes the bet and the winnings.

Ok, that makes sense. I was reading it all wrong.
