to start, GO VOLS!!!! secondly, as far as yearly high school talent goes, you have 1st of all, Texas, California, and Florida, both head and shoulders above the rest. Then you have the non-applicapble states, including the 6 New England States, Montana, the Dakotas, Wyoming, Deleware, Alaska, and Hawaii. Not that these states dont produce DIA caliber players, just not enough to be considered "hotbeds". So that sets the floor at 39 for the remaining 36 states, obviously giving the top 3 to the aforementioned in no particular order.
Assuming that these remaining states are broken in to 3,12 state 'tiers', i would place Tennessee somewhere at the bottom of the 1st tier, or high/middle of the 2nd tier, theres plenty of Vols from Tennessee, but generally our best talent comes from out of state.
