can someone tell me how to find "hot packs" of cards?

I'm sick of always going to the store and finding worthless football or baseball cards. If someone had some pack secrets, I was wondering if they could help me out by giving me tips to find jerseys or autos. If you have some I would appreciate it if you could send me a message or post them here. Maybe we could find some Brady Quinn autographs or something. Thanks!

Isn't that just luck of the draw? You buy one, and see what you get. What sorts of secrets are you looking for?

Yeah sometimes, but I hear there are some tricks to it.

I am an on-again off-again collector that is getting back on again to start a Brady Quinn collection with my son. What are these Upper Deck codes you speak of?

All I know about finding jersey cards or autographs, is don't always grab the thickest pack, they put cardboard in some of the packs.
