That picture sounds cool. How about sending me the tickets so I can see the picture. I promise to send them back before the season starts.

Like NDSMC78 I jumped at the opportunity to get season tix when they became available this year for the first time in 30 years. Alas, with my lowly paycheck as a teacher I went for the 'cheap' seats in the end zone rather than sideline seats. As a cross country coach I can't make many games due to scheduling conflicts. But I figure that I've been able to get some folks out to Notre Dame for whom it has been a dream to see a game, so that makes the price tag worth it.

I also have season tickets this year. This year was the first time since the early 1960's where the university made season tickets available. I have linked the website. As I recall, you have to be a contributing alum to apply. As far as I know, everyone that applied for season tickets got them.

Season Tickets // Notre Dame Stadium

Ah makes sense. I got the info right after it came out...but we live in Oregon, so there is no way for me to justify that one to my wife. ;)

I am in the end zone too. Section 134, to be exact. But that's fine with me. Unless you are in the real low seats, say rows 1-10 in the old stadium, there is really not a bad seat in the place.

agreed about no bad seats. i'm in 102. i haven't been back to the stadium since before the upper section was put in (the snow bowl '92 to be exact), so it'll be a new experience in the upper tier. plus for those to whom i give tickets, it's about the experience, not the seat.

If you've never sat in the new section before, it's a different experience. You actually have leg room. No one's knees are in your back. And it's easy to get to the concession stands, and more importantly, the rest rooms. With the long time outs, you usually don't miss a single play when you have to make a pit stop.

Doesn't sound like ND stadium to me ...
