In what turned out to be a shocking commitment to most, Notre Dame was able to go flying by Michigan again in the final moments of the recruiting process for a key line prospect in this year's recruiting class when they recieved a verbal commitment from DT Omar Hunter from Buford, GA. Omar becaomes the 14th member of the Irish's '08 recruiting class, and many ND's fans hope that other assumed once Michigan locks or leans such as R. Blanton, J. Slaughter, and J. Baldwin will follow Clelland's and Hunter's lead to South Bend.

I watched the free highlight film Rivals has on this kid and he can really move for a big guy. I was very impressed with his athletecism. Can't wait to see him in a Golden Dome.
