I don't like the fact that he states many coaches won't be around long but I guess we have to face that fact when we hire the best.

Good article, but I agree that we don't want to hear about the DC leaving when are over 3 months from seeing his FIRST game. Thats a bit premature!

If he is leaving in 2 or 3 years, that will mean he will have turned ND's defense around completely or he was fired. Here's to hoping he leads the turnaround!

That's what happens when you have good coaches though. The key is rotating them with other good coaches. Ask Lou, he was always having to replace coaches because of their success. Ask Pete Carroll, he's having to replace coaches all the time. It's hard to keep a great staff intact. Just the name of the game.

I did find it funny that he slammed Ty and Bob without actually saying anything.

Reading the article, I kept thinking "I love what he said here. That's my favorite part of the article." But then I would read the next sentence and that was my new favorite part. Loved every word.

yeah and as he said the reason corwin will be leaving in 2-3 yrs is because he feels he will be that successful in creating a monster defense at ND

If you have good assistant coaches, then it is not surprising that they would leave after 2 - 3 years for a better job.
