This guy was mediocre at best last year and now has been having the worst spring training I think I have ever seen. What do we do with him? do you keep him on and hope he pulls it together during the season or do we send him down to Pawtucket? Remember the only thing I have heard Francona and Farrell say was that he was "struggling" and they were waiting to him to get out of his slump. I personally send him down and if we see him improve bring him back up like we did last year.

Pawtucket for sure. The kid is still very young. We might just be pushing him a little too much. He just needs to get that slider working and throw strikes. We know he can throw hard.
