Irish women upset #17 Louisville

the Irish overcame a 12 point first half hole to win 64-55. charel allen had 21 points.

the ND women are now 12-1 at home... I guess both teams are good at home and struggle on the road. which is not unusual, just kind of frusrating.

This is a young up and coming team that really is going to be good in the years to come says that most of their key players are underclassmen and their best player is sitting the year out with a knee injury.

that is true. 3 of the freshmen are key contributors who get a lot of minutes, Gaines and Allen both have another year, and Schrader will be back. I'm excited for the future. but I'm also excited for Sunday (game on ESPN2 at 5:30)

the Irish lady hoopsters could still make noise this season, give them a chance they have a great coach!

they have now won 4 in a row, beating Nova yesterday. Charel Allen had 25 points.
