absolutely.

Its all about integrity.

Yes i would say that too but when it comes down to the real thing. i dont know if i could do it... Like if it was a questionable pass interferance call there is no way im throwin the flag against ND but for USC id throw it in a heartbeat. Just my honest opinion

I'd have the opposite problem: because I'm such a Notre Dame fan, I'd probably unconsciously favor USC with my calls just to avoid the appearance of pro-ND favoritism. But that's unfair to ND. So... I voted "maybe."

I know and understand where your coming from, but to win by cheating isn't winning no mater what. Its always better to win and it just feels better when you win the "right" way.
It adds a little something extra after you beat their ass without cheating and/or after you get their best shot.

I think it would depend on the score if they did not need me I'm fair as fair can be. There are always penalties that go over looked that you could simply emphasize instead of letting them go. Holds, light pass interference, pushing the QB in the back over the line for game winning touchdowns etc etc... Now if that is cheating then call me a cheater.

I think questionable calls would be the hardest to make. I would have to recuse myself, grab a beer, and yell nasty things about USC.

I think if I wanted to keep the integrity of the game, I would tell the NCAA that there was a conflict of interests and that I would not be able to call a fair game. If somehow I were forced to be a ref, I think overall I could be fair, but the questionable things I would tend to lean towards ND... such as some close calls on pass interference and the like... and calling a timeout when there are no timeouts left... and that other problem that happened.
