Couldn't find his profile so I thought I would post it here. Polian has contacted Nick and here is the deal, if offered Nick would unoffcially visit this weekend and ND would have a shot, if not then he goes to UW as mentioned. Polain thinks he fits the Defense of Brown real well and Wish he could of got ahold of Nick sooner. Nonetheless I'll will know if it's going to happen in the next 2 days or so.

Rob may want to comment further, as he knows far more about Nick than I do. I did get to see him play once this year, and I was impressed with his quickness and his motor. He goes HARD all the time; no taking "plays off". Don't know about his 40 speed, but seemed to have very good football speed.

It would be great to get him.

SOunds good 2 me guys. I know we have plenty of schollies left. He could be a good anchor inside for the 3-4. If he adds 15 pounds he will be 290 with a lot of strngth as mentioned above. It sound like a good fit for me.

If I remember correctly Robdog was a coach on Woods team, WR I think. So if anyone is going to know on this one, its going to be Robdog. Lets keep of fingers crossed, Robdog has been high on him all year.

Yeah sorry, Nick's profile was one of the treads recently deleted by an angry mod that is no longer a part of the site. Thanks for the updates as always.

Thanks, but that's not the kind of profile he ment. We have a profile/individual thread on Irish Envy for all of ND's potential recruits. However Nick's was recently deleted by an angry mod that is no longer welcome here, so that's what he was talking about. Not Rivals or Scout.

I hope he's wrong, but Rockne3d is reporting that Nick told ND "NO"

All he's doing is repeating something Robdog posted in his profile several weeks ago. Just be patient and wait for Robdog's updates on this one ...

This was the last I heard from Robdog....(quote from another site)

"Talked to Nick today and his dad neither think he is going to get an offer. His dad said if they offered he already has plane tickets just in case"

If they are going to offer him, when are they going to do it? Or have they already offered him? I would love to steal him from Ty.

Do you have a date on that?

thanks robdog. That sucks for Nick, he sounded Irish all season long.

Lets hope that ND doesn't make this kind of mistake with next year's class. Sounds like this kid wanted to be Irish all along and we just drug our feet way too long.

Am I missing something here? It sounds like he hasn't gotten an offer yet. If that is the case, no one dragged their feet too long, it just wasn't a good fit.

I was hoping he'd get an offer. If he didn't, hopefully he'll use it as motivation to show us it was a mistake. Good luck to him.

Damn. Given our situation at DT it is still hard for me to believe that we didn't offer him.

He was offered late in the game and gave a "thanks, but no thanks" response back to ND. He is honoring his committment to Washington and Ty.

Have to respect that.

And judging by the offers going out for the 08 recruits, I would say Weis and company have learned their lesson after getting boned this year.

Unless I'm missing something, there aren't many offers going out on defense yet. Mostly offense.

According to a member of his high school team's staff, today in this thread, he doesn't have an offer, but is waiting for one with plane tickets in hand. ????????????????
