Too bad they didnt give to Troy since he is having a hell of a first half.
Eddie George classic quote - "don't worry about the score right now -- it is irrelevant! "
Instant Classic.
Knock, Knock. Who's there? Troy it's me Brady, I want my Heisman back.

It's actually also kind of weird that the 3 top Heisman vote getters:
Troy Smith - Laid Egg - Team probably losing by approx 3 TDs scores??
Darren McFadden - not great, 89 Yds - team loses to Wiscy (not quite as bad for Darren)
Brady Quinn - Laid Egg - Team lost by over 3 TDs
Brady wins cingular player of the year, just announced on fox
Smith has 36 yds passing, 2 turnovers, and 0 tds after 3 quarters. Quinn didn't have a good game in the bowl, but he did have 3 tds against Mich and USC, and 2 against LSU.
Agree that Brady played better in the SB than Troy is playing tonight, but unfortunately it wasn't a great game by Quinn or the Irish. I'm just glad that Smith is bringing whole new meaning to the word CHOKE.
Hell, I many just go back to the ESPN boards for some fun tonight. Nah, can't be bothered....

Now I have seen two OSU games this season and all the Notre Dame games. My untrained eye has seen more mental errors from Smith than Quinn. All season long Smith had wide open guys and no pressure so the poor mechanics or decisions didnt hurt as much. But with a tough defense they came out.
Please stop posting here. All you do is defend the Buckeyes and insult the Irish. I know it may seem like we are ganging up on OSU, but most of us are trying to discuss his actual performance, which today sucked. He had happy feet like crazy, was throwing without his feet set and off his back foot, etc. He was faced with lots of pressure yes, but he made mental errors.

Yeah, that's pretty much it...which is why Quinn is still assumed to be the #1 (if only a top10 pick) in the draft...and Smith is more like "Well, he might go in the 2nd round"
rep points for you
i'VE watched all Ohio State games and two ND games and to the untrained eye I noted that Quinn sucked in big games, he sucked when playing against any DECENT competition, and it may seem like I gang up against ND all the time but in any type of big game he has never showed up at all....
Smith has a better defense, better o-line, better wide recievers, better running back. Quinn perfroms well in the games, its just the rest of the team is so physically dominated that the plays cant be made.
In the Sugar Bowl for instance, ND's recievers never got more than a yard separation from the defenders while Russell was throwing to guys with nobody around them for 5 yards. Quinn has had to make more precise throws all year, especially in the big games. Samardzija had a touchdown bounce off his head. Rhema had a ball bounce off him for an interception. If those two catches are made, Quinn in 17-35, 180 yds, 3tds and 1 interception. While the team sucked, brady hasn't. There were throws he missed yes, but there weren't as many bad decisions as I saw Smith make tonight.
All season Smith has been throwing to wide open Ginn and Gonzalez and Robiskie. When they were covered and the ground game stalled he made bad decisions, more than he should have.
Quinn 15-35 148 and two INT's (one called, the other over-ruled for some reason or another).....Ginn...didnt play an offensive down tonite, Smith had no chance to throw, and in a big game, yeah Im still taking Troy Smith, because he's 3-0 versus a BIG rival...now 2-1 in Bowl games....and has stood head and shoulders above any other QB in tough games in the last two to three seasons.....if you honestly think Troy Smith isnt a big game player, just look back to any Michigan game and also th ND bowl game last season
