Is everyone surprised, or just pissed?

I'm pissed...not that we lost, and not because we lost bad, but because our Defense had no adjustments, just sat their in a soft zone thinking it would work, our offense did nothing special, the fake punt still pisses me off, and everyone at my house was saying LSU should be going for it because their kicker sucks too...and boom they fake it and catch us way off guard...if a bunch of idiots saw the possibility...why couldn't ND's coaching staff...

Our defensive scheme (if you can call it a scheme) was the most frustrating thing in the world to watch...our LB's just stand there waiting to react...giving little run and pass support....

MAKE THE OFFENSE REACT TO THE DEFENSE....

Even watching the tv i noticed they put in their back up kicker ( but because i see alot of LSU games down here i know he is the faster one). I saw that a mile away. I actually threw the remote outside after the 1st dwon conversion.

Refs wouldn't call interference first quarter. Has a big effect on game. After that, same old same old with offensive line, linebackers (entire defense), special teams... I predicted 42-17, and as usual the kicker let me down when he missed...

when the ref's don't call pass interference, we should bump on the defensive side of the ball. we never did. also our WR's need to take it rather than cry for a flag everytime they let a ball bounce off their hands.

Exactly the people we need to get off this site. Get off the band wagon and beat it!! Any true fan watched the whole game, or at least most of it. A real fan wouldn't give up after the first quarter.

I agree!! Some fan. Missed out on the excitement of us dominating them to come back and tie it up only to let it slip away, one score at at time. I'm convinced that the fumble reversal call is what sank the ship. We get the ball there on the 30/40 whatever going in at the start of the half...tie it up and we got a game. That call took a lot out of sails and put us in the notorious "catch-up" mode that has derailed ND in all of our big losses.

You can pull out games late by passing against crappy defenses (see Michigan State and UCLA), but when you try to play that game against a REAL defense (see OSU, Michigain, USC, and LSU), they have the advantage to make plays, not us.

Yeah, I was trying to convince myself that the USC and UM games were flukes, and that we can play much better. I was wrong on both accounts. We are barely a top 25 team... realistically.

Give me a break...we're a definite top 25 team...just not top 15.

Youre going to sit there and tell me that you watched the whole game? If that's the case then your a "IndyHOMER" not "Indydomer".

I think the thing that hurts the most is that (a true ND fan) always has that belief in the back of their head saying, "We can come back, just one more stop" and then... 3 and out... or a guy on LSU getting wide open... I watched the whole game and the post game for Brady and the seniors but I was soo crushed, me and my friend were speechless the whole second half...
