Yeah or nay for Minter!

I here tons of Minter must go and I am probably one of those that are leading the charge for his dismissal. However, are there any yeahs out there and why?

I am torn...I want to see him with top talent...but conversely it seems like we are doing worse than we should with the talent we have.

Since we have no real expectations for next year. I really don't care. either fire him this year or next year though. He isn't cutting it and I can assure you that there are MUCH better D-ccordinators out there that could do extremely better than Minter. Really, plenty of high schools coaches would be doing better, even with the talent we have.

Also, we need a motivator on defense. Someone who is down on the field getting guys riled up, like Pelini.

Quite if its Weis's defense that he is forced to run

I just don't get how anyone expects a defense to preform if all they do is react

I admire the fact that Weis doesnt criticise his players or coaches to the public, but some action needs to take place behind closed doors.

But wait till after national signing day. He is very responsible for our successful recruiting in Tennessee.

Weis will...it's not like he's a panty-waste... He will do what he needs to.

I said it before, I'll say it again. I wasn't impressed with Minters defense the first time around. I think that he does have a lack of athlete's, but there are teams that do much better than ND with the same level. I cringed when I heard Minter got the position just thinking of the 93 BC game.

Our defense has some talented people, but the players seemed confused and out of sinc. We need a new defensive coordinator. The fired coach from NC STATE comes to mind.

I almost wonder if the NFL coaching they get from Lewis is not TOO MUCH. It's hard to play NFL style when you are still learning the ropes.

Maybe get an up and coming D coordinator from the NCAA ranks???

Minter needs to leave. I don't care if he steps down on his own, take another job, or gets fired. If we don't have talent, then change your game playing so we don't get burned so much on big plays.

2 BCS bowls, 75 pts given up, 1194 yards of offense. I agree with ditching him the day after national signing day. We don't have the greatest Defensive players, but he should've been able to do better than they have...

Yep. I would fire Bill Lewis as well. I may even fire the offensive line coach because of how poorly they played all year. TOO Inconsistent.

He was considered one of the very best D-Backs coaches in the NFL...that's all.

This whole year was painful to watch on the defensive side of the ball. We had trouble with some of the weakest teams in the country. Minter should do the right thing and step down. If he doesn't he will be fired.
