My wife, who may just be the luckiest person in thew world, has picked the Irish in her bowl pool. Last year, she won the bowl, beating out 30 or so men who watched college football all season while she watched none.
My brother in-law puts together a pool every year. For some reason, he only included 29 of the bowls instead of all 32. But he has you pick the winner against the spread. And you give each game a point factor from 1-29 using each number only once. The number you choose is the number of points you get if your team covers the spread.
Without watching any sports whatsoever she had beaten me the last 2 years in College Basketball NCAA torrnament pool. Last year, she beat out close to 30 people (including me) and won my brother in-laws bowl pool.
For last nights game, she had Utah covering a 2.5 spread over Tulsa and weighted it with 24 points. So she's definitely a little lucky. In any case, she's got the Irish picked in her pool. That's a good omen in my book!
