The Denver Nuggets have reached an agreement in principle with the Philadelphia 76ers to acquire Allen Iverson, according to NBA front-office sources.

Iverson
The trade, pending league approval, some two weeks after Iverson demanded a trade in Philly, would send Andre Miller, Joe Smith and two 2007 first-round picks to the Sixers for Iverson and perhaps another minimum-salaried player or two. It was expected to be completed later Tuesday barring any snags.

It all depends on who the draft picks turn out to be...

Sixers will have three first round picks in a deep draft this year. Not a bad position to be in to start to rebuild.

The two picks in the trade will probably be late in the draft, they belong to Denver and Dallas. But if Philly keeps losing they will definitely be in the Greg Oden sweepstakes with their own pick.
Ill be interested to see if the 76ers try and move Chris Webber later in the season for another first round pick. I doubt any team would do it with the salary implications and Webber's imcreasing age, but injuries to contending teams could change the situation. Maybe to the Bulls since P.J. Brown wants out.
