Hey guys--I was just curious what the makeup of this board is. Did you attend Notre Dame? If so, when, and what degree? I know some of you are current students. If not, when did you start being an Irish fan? Nothing against non-alums at all--my whole mom's side of the family grew up cheering for ND in South Dakota, but I was the first one to go there.

I was there from 2000-2003 and graduated from the law school.
Rough draw football-wise--stuck in the middle of the Davieham years...

A poll probably would have been a good idea. Anyhow, I'm a subway alum.

I can start one if wanted, but I didn't think it would be able to provide many details beyond yes or no.

Yeah, Carlos is a cool guy, and a total beast! Didn't he win the heavyweight Bengal Bouts 2 out of his 3 years?

Class of 1997 undergrad, BBA in Management.

Quite an unusual route to ND in that I was a die-hard Wolverine fan, and although I did not hate ND, I was happy to see them lose (the '92 Stanford game comes to mind as the last time I really remember being pleased by an ND loss).

I actually applied for early enrollment after hearing someone speak at a college fair during my senior year of high school, and after a visit to campus, knew that this was the place I wanted to spend my college career attending.

I was in the band and really did not have a clear perspective on the magnitude of Notre Dame football until the first play from scrimmage my freshman year (1993-Pete Bercich returns an interception for a TD vs. N'western). The place went nuts, and I was hooked.

I repent for ever not loving our Irish. I cry when they win, I mourn when they lose.

Go Irish.

Born in Chicago in old Irish Catholic neighborhood and my uncles started taking me to ND football games during the Leahy years. Been a solid fan ever since. My youngest son was able to get into ND, played lacrosse and graduated in 2001. The other two sons knew they couldn't get into ND after they got their first grades in high school, but they're just as avid as the old man and the youngest one.

I'm headed for the Sugar Bowl, which we need to win badly. GO IRISH!!!

Class of 1993, BA in Government and International Studies, Certificate in PPE.

Grew up a Notre Dame fan. It's hard for an Irish-German Catholic growing up in Indiana and attending Catholic grade school NOT to be one.
