They have a serious complex. I have lived out here for nearly 10 years now. I told them this year that if they hung together they could win the PAC-10.

Everyone I told that to looked horrified. If they won it, honest to god I think they would give back the title...they are too scared to grab the brass ring.

So, instead they grab attention by wearing weird outfits.

Of COURSE Oregon is switching to color-changing helmets! Why the hell not? They've already used up every ugly uniform idea that is possible with just static colors, so why not switch to color-changing helmets for the next trick?

Geez.

What is with all the experimentation with the uniforms throughout college football anyway? I saw FSU and Maryand both wear all black uniforms, Clemosn did some purple pants thing one night, VT experimented with some funky orange additions to their unis, Was it mostly an ACC thing?

Whatever happened to the daysd when you just had 2 unifroms, home and away?

I like having alternate jerseys, just look at Florida. Blue on White, Blue on Blue, Blue on Orange, White on Blue, White on White, and White on Orange. But Oregon is just out of control, and they have become Nike whores. I think the nasty jerseys are a PAC-10 thing. Cal's yellow on blue, any of Oregons' combos plus they have those stupid steel markings, and Washington St. had a new ugly alternate home jersey too.

I think Nike pays them a lot of money to do this, and the players have fun with it as the Nike Design teams ask them for their input.

I'm not sure why people think its a big deal, Their ever changing Uniforms will never be more offensive than Boise State's Blue Uniforms and Smurf turf
