I almost feel bad for the kids Zook recruits. There is no reason they should have been that bad this year.

Yeah, but didn't he install a ton of true freshman this year so they could take their licks while getting his system down before he hauls in a Top 10 recruiting class to augment last year's haul? Say what you want about Zook, but the guy can recruit.

Speaking of good recruiters but questionable head coaches...I saw where John Blake left Nebraska to join Butch Davis at UNC. Keep an eye on these guys over the next 2-3 years. I think ND goes to Chapel Hill in '08.

Good thing for them that they played MSU after ND played them and for that Division 2 team.
