It says he used to be their offensive coordinator, so North Texas probably knows him pretty well and they're not taking a complete unknown.

Southlake Carroll is has been the best high school team in Texas for some time. I saw them play in the first round of the playoffs a couple weeks ago. 46,796 in attendance. Unbeleivable. You could tell they were well coached.
