Golic and LSU

Does anyone have Talking Irish available? I know there was something about mike golic and lsu in it... was he the one who bought the lsu hat on the way into the stadium and stomped on it? I need the story if there is one. Was Golic on the ND team that beat LSU when they were #1 or am I completely confused?

I have Talking Irish at home. (Great book, by the way. I highly recommend it) If I can remember, I will look this up. I recall your story. That did happen, though I don't recall which player it was. You could be right.

It seems like a Golic thing to do. Although there are certainly other players that I wouldn't put it past. But thanks. I have the book, but it is at home, and I am currently at ND getting ready for finals. so yea, pretty much I shouldn't even be on this board right now, but oh well.

"Right when I get off the bus, I bought an LSU hat. Then as our guys walked to the locker room, there was a gauntlet of LSU fans screaming, "TIGER BAIT!" I just stopped in my tracks, took off the LSU hat, spit on it, threw it down, and stomped all over it.
"It was hysterical. It almost caused a riot. But I liked it when things got jacked up."

Do you think that this team has that nasty streak in them. Golic had it which is really obvious just from that story. But I have my doubts about this team and that nasty streak.
