No head to head, no common opponents, decent schedules each; boils down to the better quality loss argument. Has its place, but to exclude another team that is comparable when the loss is to the very team they both want to play?

Doesn't take a screwjob to give Florida the nod.

Michigan had a chance (with, what was it, a +3 turnover differential?).

Michigan lost by 3 in one of the most hostile environments in the country to the #1 team. Florida lost by 10 to the #10 team.

It does take a screw job to have Michigan get lept by Florida JUST TO GIVE FLORIDA THE NOD...NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SECOND BEST TEAM IN THE COUNTRY.
