Should be a good game. One I think we can win.

Ohio St. vs Flordia in the Championship
USC vs. Michigan in Rose
Oklahoma vs. Boise State in Fiesta
Wake Forest vs. Louisville in the Orange
LSU vs. Notre Dame in the Sugar

You can take that to the bank!

i would agree...LSU is #1 in total Defense allowing 227.7 yards per game. The Tiger defense also ranks among the top 10 in the nation in several other defensive categories, including a No. 3 rankings in scoring defense (11.3 points per game) and pass efficiency defense (95.1 rating), No.5 in sacks (3.4 per game), No. 6 in rushing defense (74.6 yards per game), and No. 8 in pass defense (153.1 yards per game).

The Tigers have also been one of the best when it comes to getting off the field on third-downs as LSU has limited its opponents to just a 28.3 percent conversion rate in those situations. That figure ranks fifth nationally.

Should be a fun game!!!

Would that be the Sugars dream matchup or would they rather have more outside money coming in?

Any way you splice it, I think USC loses the Rose Bowl whether they play Michigan or LSU. An ND bowl win and 2 stright losses for Poodle & USC? My body wouldn't be able to handle that much joy at one time.

if this happens, what happens to those 40K tickets that LSU fans already bought for the granddaddy bowl?

I think with the hotel room situation down there, it may be better for them to have a somewhat local team if ND is the opponent because ND travels so well.

i tink they are the most talented sec team, great defense, they have struggled at times running the ball this year though

Can't believe I'm going to say this, but michigan is clearly a better team than florida and they deserve to be in the bcs championship. Who gives a rat ass that they had their chance and lost, they are the better team. After watching florida this year, they are not the 2nd best team in the nation, they were not impressive in their wins against "common opponents" and they weren't all that impressive tonight. urban better get his bitch rag ready, because I didn't see anything that justifies them playing for the title. He can take that sorry ass spread option offense to New Orleans and I'll be praying every damn night that ND smacks the shit out of Leak and that shithead tebow. Man I hate that tool. I want no part of LSU, not yet anyway.

I posted this in a different thread, but I'll just copy it over to here.

We've been saying this all night, but it really comes down to the best two teams in the country. Here is how I see the whole BCS picture finishing out:
National Championship Ohio State vs Michigan- As sad as it is to say, Herbstreit pointed out that it really comes down to who the best two teams are. And to my dismay, I have to say Michigan is better than the Gators.
Orange Bowl Wake Forest vs Louisville
Fiesta Bowl Boise State vs Oklahoma
Rose Bowl USC vs LSU - LSU will qualify as an at-large team
Sugar Bowl Notre Dame vs Florida- Seeing as how I said Michigan would play for the championship, Florida, being the SEC champ, would play us. Although we said we could beat USC, and we were wrong, I DO believe we can beat Florida. USC had little flaws, but Florida's are major. All we have to do is just watch the South Carolina vs UF game and Florida St vs UF game and Charlie, ever brilliant, will learn how to beat these guys.

I agree with earlier posts saying that Michigan deserves a 2nd shot being that I see them as the only other team on par with OSU. It's hard to even say that but it is what it is.....

I'm not very excited about playing LSU in the Sugar Bowl. I can't imagine trying to run against them, I have a feeling their going to be in Quinn's face all day.

You are right about that...that's why I would rather have Florida to face.

Although, I am more concerned about PASS DEFENSE rather than RUN DEFENSE... Who have we really been able to run against anyway? ;)

I'd rather play UF than LSU. UF shoots itself in the foot often and Leak is good for atleast 1 turnover a game. LSU has a great defense, the online better come to play if that's the matchup.

Exactly my thoughts. UF would be easier for the Irish than LSU.
