Ball has to be the worst QB in CFB

When teams are desperate to have a duel threat QB, dont they at least make sure they can throw the ball?

I started a thread like this during his game against Georgia. This guy just sucks. Unbelievably bad player. If they had even a halfway decent QB, like, just a guy who didn't stink up the joint, they'd have beaten US, Georgia, and Wake. They might even have beaten Clemson. This team had an all world wideout, a top defense, good coaching, a good running back- and they're about to get their fourth loss. Could really have been a national contender. Ball is just bad.

I'm switching between Army & Navy game and GT & WF and all I ever see is him do is throw the ball down the field 30 plus yards overthrowing his receivers.

I have to agree he has the worst accuracy that I have ever seen. With him being such a terrible QB I have always wondered what Calvin Johnsons numbers would be like with a good QB throwing to him.

I saw him in person for his first game ever as a true freshman and I was very impressed. I thought he was going to be one of the better QB's in College Football someday but I was way wrong. He is an very good athlete and nothing else.

Its partly the coaches fault too. The first thing Weis would do as coach of GT would be to hand Ball a clipboard or make him a WR.

I wonder how Tenuta feels playing for a second tier program?

I'd say based on last week's game, Casey Dick at Arkansas should duel Reggie Ball for that distinction. I didn't see this week's GT game, though. Oh and Weatherford at FSU is definitely in the "others receiving votes" section.

I remember seeing him play when he was an underclassmen and I agree I thought he had some potenital, but guess I was wrong.

Ball is a pretty bad quarterback, he is so inaccurate isnt his completion% around 50%.

I don't care how bad their back-up is, they should have at least tried to use a passer...Ball was WAY off

ball just steps back and throws the ball up for grabs. the worse part is that he usually doesn't even keep his throws in bounds

I still can't believe that Clemson game where Calvin Johnson did not have 1 catch... NOT 1.

I'm amazed how bad he is considering all the experience he has. Boggles my mind why Tech never tried someone else out at QB, I'm sure they have a taller QB on the roster who is at least capable of throwing the ball over his own linemen.
