From Irish Illustrated was on rivals radio talking all things Irish for about 10 minutes, great interview(sirius is the greatest), note I missed the first couple minutes, I'll listen to the rebroadcast and update around 2ish:

Bowl game: Michigan and some alums are pushing real hard for the Rose Bowl not to take ND with the second at-large selection. He says the Sugar is the most likely destination for our boys.

Next years QB: He stated that a lot of the players say it will be Demetrius Jones or Jimmy.

Coaching changes: Said CW will look into replacing Minter but wouldn't be suprised if nothing happens.

Next years record: Everyone should be happy with 8-4(of course they will not).

Better team USC or Michigan: USC. Says the UM game was more on ND mistakes.

Who will win USC or Ohio st: Couldn't decide, says it will be a great game

i think everyone has noticed this. i am worried by the lack of commits. why such a low max (20)? im not a recruitnik, so i don't know the ins-and-outs. heres to hoping we have a LOT of great silent verbals...

I'd be suprised if we even get 20. Not really all that worried about it, considering who we have openly committed to ND right now, if the next 8 or so are that caliber, that is a mighty fine class. We don't need to fill up the class and waste a scholarship on someone who has no shot of playing just to use them. Aim for Quality, not Quantity, and save some for a killer '08 class.

when I listened to the rebroadcast, he said 18-19 is the likely number, 20 is a stretch... But he added that since we only have 18 or 19 in the current sophmore and jr classes the staff may change their mind, but he doubts it.

Cast a narrow net to the big fish vs a wide net and pull in the minnows. Minnows will not help us vs. Michigan and USC, we need f'n great whites.

That's what I'd like to see. I plan on being around and have patience in spades.

123, every morning 7-10. Rivals Radio. But this only second time someone from II has been on. Normally every tuesday morning Crabtree is on to discuss recruiting. It is by far the best radio show on the airwaves to discuss all things college football.

It is the greatest thing since HDTV. If you are in a car for more than a half hour a day, it is a no brainer. Howard was the reason I got mine, the other programming is the reason I'm keeping it.
