Amen brother...I have said that before as well...he is not a safety at all...and it hurts me to say that for a fellow townie...

I don't think Zbikowski can add much more to his frame already, nor do I think he is anywhere near an NFL caliber linebacker.

SC exposed Nedu's pass coverage skills in a big way Saturday night.

I have often heard the following comment from a variety of sources and I think it is kind of funny.

Since Charlie Weis arrived, Notre Dame hasn't beaten anyone it shouldn't have. It's funny because last year the "experts" predicted they would go 1-5 in the first 6 games. They went 4-2. Then they weren't supposed to beat mighty Tennessee. They did. Preseason this year, they were predicted to win all of their games except maybe USC. Which means, this year, they only had 1 chance to beat someone they shouldn't have.

zibby had so much hype surrounding him... but i didnt think hype translated into the nfl. otherwise troy smith would be like the.... OMGZOGZ NUMBER ONE PICK EVERRRRARAREZF

Going into 2006, two games on the schedule scared me.

They ended up losing both.

I can't go anywhere today without reading a blasting of the Irish. Mean spirited blasting, not journalism. I'm amazed how these dickweeds can say the USC win over ND solidifies them as a powerhouse, and in the next fucking breath say that the loss to USC means ND is a garbage team. Which is it? Is USC really great or is ND "pathetic" as so many of them put it? I don't recall them declaring USC to be the second best team until AFTER they beat ND. Well, ND is "pathetic" so how does that work? Couldn't they put USC on a pedestal after they beat another "pathetic" team, say, Stanford?

Now the claim is Auburn & Wisc are getting screwed if ND goes to a BCS game? Who the hell did Wisc beat that ND didn't. Didn't Auburn get blown out twice too? To Arkansas and fucking Georgia? Please explain to me how there is NO bias against ND in the media.

Please dear GOD in Heaven, let the Irish win their Bowl Game.

I hate to say it guys, but hasn't anyone else noticed that Zbikowski is not that good? First off, he plays the run way too aggresively for a safety and doesn't read pass first. Secondly, his tackling form is terrible and might be one of the worst tacklers on the defense. Most importantly, though, is when he goes in to make a tackle, he doesn't attack the ball carrier, but rather opens his hips and hits them from the side or from behind, it is just plain old ugly. He is, in my opinion, the most over-rated player on our defense, but i still love the persona which he exudes. He doesn't make the plays that he did last year.
