It's looking like Dantonio for MSU

Reports around Cincinnati had Dantonio interviewing at MSU Wednesday. Now they are saying he is in East Lansing today.

Dantonio is one heck of a coach. He's Tressel light. He has done a nice job with the Bearcats and I would be very sorry to see him leave Cincinnati.

I would also be sorry to see them upgrade from Slappy. Both on a coaching and on a personal level.

Saban left for LSU because of an argument with the former president. The only way he would leave is if its to the NFL.

The Associated Press reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/13/nfl">Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Todd Grantham has reportedly accepted Michigan State's coaching vacancy. He refused to comment on the situation after the Week 12 game.

You got a good one, Sparty. Your offense will probably look considerable different than what you've seen under Johnelle. There will be games that are mind numbingly boring, but your defense will play well, your offense will play clean and you'll beat some teams simply by out executing them. Dantonio is an old school Big Ten football guy.

They need a defensive minded coach that will put some credibility back into the coaching position there.

I heard this morning that UC's players claimed UC matched his MSU offer financially. But he's still leaving. If this is true, good for the university for stepping up. And never mind anything good I said about Dantonio. If UC matched and he's bolting, I hope he pulls a Johnelle.
