Yeah man, what's up with these morons who think Notre Dame can actually win a game without the opponents letting them win? Suckers. Just wait until ND gets killed by USC. Then everyone will know how cool all of the naysayers are.

If you don't believe in the team, then why bother watching the games and coming to an ND site where you know true fans believe?

Whats wrong with some of you? Just because we acknowledge there are weaknesses in the team we are all of a sudden "traitors" or "not true ND fans". Grow up!

And I never said ND will get killed by USC, not once.

I have said before there are 2 types of ND fans.
1- Fans like yourself that think no matter what, ND can do no wrong and if anybody says ND is imperfect then they are not "true fans"
2-ND fans that are not scared to admit that the team is not perfect and think we should get no special treatment.

And "catching breaks" from other teams includes turn overs which allow us to capitalize and score points (which keeps our D off the field, thats football), it does not imply that teams roll over for us, seems you like to put words in my mouth.

Yeah, I actually hate "koolaid fans" who think there is absolutely no room for improvement. They put their rose colored glasses on and everything is right as rain.

I love ND just as much, if not more than anyone else. Which is the only reason why I get so pissed when I see our D not performing to what it should.

Good is the ENEMY of great, stop accepting good enough in place of greatness.

I'm also amazed that a so-called Irish fan can believe that ND has no chance against a team that lost to OREGON FREAKING STATE and needed a ref time blunder to beat a Washington team that got blasted by STANFORD!

No OWNZ, you keep burying your head in the USC sand. "Fans" like you make me sick. Not because you think ND could lose, but because you ridicule the people who believe they can win. Go to a USC board and kiss their ass for awhile, just don't come posting here if ND beats them.

I don't remember one person in this thread is saying that ND stinks, or they are going to get beat by USC etc etc etc.

Just because were not homers don't mean we don't love ND. I've been a fan for fourty years. I rushed the field in 88 in the Miami game. Were making fairly obvious evaluations of some weaknesses on defense. Does that qualify us as haters?

Now we are ND fans so let's behave like ones and give eachother mutual respect. We don't have to agree on everything but lets act civilized here ok.
