So this week 2/3 of the BCS rankings will have us at #5. Last week, the computer rankings had us tied with Florida at #5. (worth 1/3 in the BCS) Louisville and California were both ahead of us, and given Florida's close game, we could possibly be ranked #3 in the computer section of the BCS. The gap between Florida (#3) and Notre Dame (#5) could be closer than most people expect.

#1 plays #2, #3 plays #5 and #4 plays #6. Man, these last few weeks are going to be wild. The number of crazy things that need to happen for ND to get to the title game keep getting less and less. Anyone STILL believe ND is NOT a Top 10 team? Where are those guys now?

We still have a lot of question marks and the only "real" teams we have played so far is Georgia Tech, Michigan, Penn State, Navy....lets see how we play against Southern Cal then we can start talking possible title game.

Question marks? We're talking rankings not your opinion on who's "real" and who's not "real". Who's "real" on OSU & UM schedule? Who's "real" on UF's schedule? Notre Dame's SOS is ranked 22. Dude, it's your team. You should be ok with a 22nd ranked schedule, not bashing it.

Personally I think the USC game is very much up in the air.....I know alot of people here are confident it's a win but I still think USC's passing game is going to eat us up even though they're 23rd in the country. That's not really that bad.

I don't think that many people are marking it down as a win yet, they are just assuming it for NC ramifications discussion. It's still USC in LA. This one may have me dialling 9-1-1 again.

SC is still far more deep and athletic than ND........very difficult win fellas.
