Wvu?

Wvu?

How does Louisville crush WVU and get ranked way below them. I can't make sense of rankings. We need a playoff system.

That would be huge if USC is #2 next week. They're barely behind Florida, and will most likely jump the loser of OSU-Michigan. Arkansas is way too close.

More important than our #5 ranking is the jump to 1273 points. With that almost 200 point jump, our percentage number for the bcs from the coaches poll jumps from .685 to .808. Of course, those southern coaches made sure to bump Arkansas by 302 points meaning a jump from .601 to .792. We'll have to see if the computers are nearly as kind to the Hogs who were only 13th last week in the computer polls. Since we were already performing well with the computers, the point jump for us in this human poll should bode well in this week's BCS formula. Now the team just needs to keep the wins coming and they may end up holding their fate in their own hands. Who'd have thought that a month ago?

One thing to think about...

If we beat USC at the end of the year, it will be extremely hard for them to vote Arkansas ahead of us. Because USC blew them out at HOME, and we would have beaten USC in their own back yard.

Ya but the voters are in love with 1-loss SEC teams. I think you're right though, but if Arkansas beats Florida badly then who knows. Basically to be safe, we need Arkansas to lose on November 25th to LSU, then beat Florida the week after. Or have Florida lose to FSU.

Arksansas still plays LSU? Then really the threat is Florida. Forget Arkansas. Ideally of course, LSU beats Arky (I think this happens), and Arky beats Florida (not so sure on this one). I was pissed after seeing the AP poll, but this brightens my spirit considerably.

Of course again, the key thing (besides ND taking care of the last two games) is for Michigan to beat OSU, and USC to beat Cal and UCLA. This could really be perfect. Can we win a title game rematch? Who knows. I like our chances.

I've watched 3 complete Arkansas games and these guys are pretty good. We get alot of SEC games on tv in Florida obviously. They busted up Auburn and Tennessee from the first minute and handled S. Carolina a lot better than what the score looked like. They are hands down the best team in the SEC. I think they beat LSU and take UF to the woodshed. Now, just because they are the best SEC team doesn't mean they are better than everyone else.

The USC game is still bad, but McFadden didn't play in that game and neither did DIck or Mustain.
