Ok, so this may not be a real big deal to most of you, but in these parts (by that I mean the state of Illinois) its the biggest game of the weekend. #14 SIU vs. #11 NIU, winner still has a chance to make the playoffs, loser goes home. SIUs Payton Award Candidate rb, Arkee Whitlock vs. NIUs Payton Award Cadidate qb, Eric Sanders. GO DAWGS!!!

SIU leads 30-13 at halftime. Very little defense played by either team until SIU stopped NIU in 2nd quarter right before half.

I've got SIU on the radio, Notre Dame score from espn.com on my computer while I study for a chemistry test on Wednesday. Really not enjoying this day too much except both my teams happen to be winning and playing very well.

My house is divided on this one. My wife is a Northern Iowa Alum, and I was born in Carbondale. LOL

SIU gets 3rd int. More than they've had all season. 3:30 left, 40-23 lead SIU. RB Arkee Whitlock has 140+ yds rushing with 3 tds and QB Nick Hill is 12-15 for 170+ and a couple tds.
