FB FRIDAY: Flynn's legacy should last forever - Sports - Republican Herald
This is a link to an article from my local newspaper. Bill Flynn was a memebr of the 1949 NC team under Leahy. I couldn't dig up too much about his stats, other than it looks like he had 1 reception for 7 yards that year. He ended up having a very successful career as a high school coach, including turning Pottsville into a state contender and one of the all time winningest teams in the state (ranekd 12th) Figured I'd share this story here with the site.
Also if anyone is unfamiliar, Pottsville is in the heart of the PA Coal Region, known for anthracite coal, the Molly Maguires, and Yuengling beer.
