Neither one impressed me last night, defense especially.

Louisville has a neat offense and that Steve Slaton can run. I was curious as to why he was on the sidelines for the whole third quarter during the biggest game of his life.

If you're healthy below your waist you'd better be out there. A forearm problem?

Neither team is a Top 10 caliber team and I think they showed that tonight, both are way overrated and neither can play any defense, it will be interesting to see how Rutgers fairs against both.

I kept yelling at the tv because neither team looked very good. Big ten teams would beat the snot out of either one of them. ND is far superior to those teams that play in a weak conference. Overrated is too kind -- they sucked. Louisville was in the red zone and ran up the middle how many times and never got a touchdown? ND's offense is so much more creative--I forget how much Charlie brings to the team. Actually what Charlie brings to college football is amazing. Watching these teams just really made me mad that we are at 11. Rat bastards.

IMO I think he was faking it as an excuse to his two fumbles, saying oh it was my arm. I once thought he was one of the best backs in the country but after seeing him run off the field like a little girl in the biggest game of the season for him I lost all respect. It obviously wasn't bad enough to keep him out of the whole game...so he shoulda just sucked it up and gone out.

I watched that game last night. Notre Dame would beat both of those teams and so would everyone else in the Top 10. Our defense is suspect, but WVU and UL play no defense whatsoever. The defensive play was awful last night. I don't see how you can call either one of those teams NC-caliber teams. I don't see it. Slaton did appear to be hurt, but when Louisville scored to go up 17 I think that made him forget about any pain he might have been feeling. I wouldn't go as far as saying I've lost all respect for him. He still rushed for over 150 yds. The turnovers cost them last night.

That was the best high school football game I've ever seen.
