Bowl Projections Week 8

Here are the latest bowl projections from Fox Sports. I love this one in particular, they have ND playing BC in the Orange Bowl. I would LOVE to see the Irish take on BC in a bowl game. Give BQ and the rest of the seniors a chance to beat the hell on the guys who ruined more than one Irish season.

I second that motion, and that's a BCS match-up I'd love our chances in. There's a lot of BCS-level teams that I'm not sure we could match up with, but if we can take down Georgia Tech, we can take down Boston College.

Upside: it's a 3-hour drive from my house!

Downside: it's in Miami.

USC vs Florida in Sugar Bowl???

NO WAY...they are done. Cal is going to spank them, then we get a piece.

The match-ups I would love to see but probably won't happen are:

Ohio State - Auburn
or
Ohio State - LSU

and Notre Dame - Florida. That game has grown on me, it was only a few weeks ago that I said we'd get our asses kicked. Well, I think we'd have our hands full, but let's face it, the hard games are the ones we look forward to. Brady Quinn hasn't won many big games at ND, so I think it would be great if the seniors left with a huge "W".

There's no doubt it would be a gamble, though.

I would be very concerned with all of Florida's speed on offense. That is the only thing that doesn't sit will with me.

I would prefer the BC matchup. I think that the defensive would have a much better chance of success.
