I almost puked when I saw #10 and then actually did when I saw #13!!!!!!

1. Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame (6-3½, 225) | previous: Same
Poised, smart and at his best in pressure situations. After a comeback against Michigan State, Quinn had solid outings against Purdue and Stanford.

2. Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin (6-6½, 313) | previous: Same
Huge, quick and athletic with a long wingspan.

3. Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson (6-4½, 260) | previous: Same
Flashes dominating ability with his athleticism and quickness.

4. Leon Hall, CB, Michigan (5-11, 193) | previous: same
Tough customer who also shows very good anticipation and awareness in coverage.

5. Quinn Pitcock, DT, Ohio St. (6-3, 297) | previous: 8
Run-stuffing dynamo who does a great job of clogging the interior.

6. Jeff Samardzija, WR, Notre Dame (6-4½, 215) | previous: 9
Super hands and concentration with outstanding speed-to-size ratio.

7. LaRon Landry, DB, LSU (6-1½, 205) | previous: 10
Four-year starter who has proven to be Mr. Reliable throughout his career.

8. Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia (6-4, 254) | previous: 5
Mature, hard working and explosive off the edge.

9. Levi Brown, OT, Penn St. (6-4½, 325) | previous: 6
Steady and reliable at protecting the quarterback's blind side.

10. Victor Abiamiri, DE, Notre Dame (6-4, 270) | previous rank: 12
He has really stepped up as a big-time pass rusher this season. Abiamiri also is one of the more durable and battle-tested ends in the country.

11. Kenny Irons, RB, Auburn (5-10½, 199) | previous: 7
Deceptively strong with great vision and balance. Another chance to shine this week against Florida's defense.

12. Marcus Thomas, DT, Florida (6-2½, 288) | previous rank: 14
Thomas neutralizes the double team and plays with power.

13. Tom Zbikowski, S, Notre Dame (5-11½, 212) | previous: Same
An aggressive ball hawk who brings a swagger to the Irish's defense. A true play-maker who also excels as a punt returner.

14. DeMarcus "Tank" Tyler, DT, NC State (6-2¼, 310) | previous: 15
Extremely quick and very powerful. A player on the rise, Taylor was a one-man wrecking crew against Boston College.

15. Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame (6-4½, 297) | previous: 16
Light on his feet with a defensive mentality. Harris neutralizes quick outside pass rushers.

16. Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno St. (6-0½, 200) | previous: 11
He has the size and speed (4.33 40-yard dash) with outstanding coverage technique.

17. Daymeion Hughes, CB, California (6-0, 187) | previous: same
Big-play cornerback for the Golden Bears. Finished strong in 2005 and it has carried over to this season. Hughes has five INT in five games.

18. David Harris, LB, Michigan (6-2, 240) | previous: Same
Fast, strong and very productive, Harris has been one of the elite defensive players in the Big Ten this season.

19. Aaron Rouse, S, Virginia Tech (6-4, 218) | previous: same
Incredible physical specimen with rare computer numbers.

20. Patrick Willis, LB, Mississippi (6-2, 235) | previous: 21
Tackling machine with great football sense and diagnostic ability.

21. Brian Leonard, Rutgers, (6-1, 239) | previous: 20
He will present the NFL with a tremendous amount of versatility, either as a traditional fullback or he could operate as an H-Back.

22. Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska (6-6, 298) | previous: Same
You just don't see many defensive ends carrying 300 pounds who can move as well as Carriker.

23. Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St. (6-1½, 235) | previous: Same
A productive and consistent player who studies and prepares as thoroughly as anybody.

24. Justin Harrell, DT, Tennessee (6-4 ¼, 302) | previous: Same
Prior to going down with a season-ending injury (torn biceps), Harrell was performing at the level you would expect from a first-round draft pick.

25. Michael Bush, RB, Louisville (6-2, 250) | previous: Same
He carried a first-round grade before breaking his leg in the first game of the season. If his rehabilitation goes well, Bush will be an intriguing prospect for next April's draft.

Dropped
Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan St. (6-3, 232) | previous:22
Desire to win is unmatched. Stanton brings every intangible you want at the QB position, but did not looked solid in losses to Notre Dame and Ilinois.

Kyle Young, C, Fresno State (6-5, 339) | previous: 23
Experienced anchor on the Bulldogs offensive line. Great physical skills and extremely durable.

this is a senior list, its considered a very weak draft for seniors this year, thats why VA, and tommy Z are so high.

Doesn't matter how weak a senior class it is, 5 out of the best 15 senior NFL prospects is impressive.

That being said, the only 2 I'd trust as high draft picks, if I were an NFL GM, are Brady and Shark.

I'd say that VA is a lot better than he appears in the ND uniform. It's just a lack of another DLine threat. Like we complain all the time, VA is ALWAYS doubled or held, or both. Don't think that that doesn't go unnoticed. he'll go unexpectedly high (although probably not #10)

That about him being doubled is a myth. He's rarely doubled. He's just almost always ineffective.

go back and look at game film VA is not doubled all the time. In fact he is rarely doubled. He is this high based on potential. He does have all the atributes you look for in a DE and scouts always believe their staff could be the one to bring out the potential.

A couple of times, Anthony Specner beat him like he stole something.

Where the hell does NC State find these D linemen?

This list is a complete sellout. It makes no sense. No Alan Branch? Leon Hall is too high. David Harris probably won't be a first round pick because of a lack of pure physical talent. I continue to insist that Quinn is not a first rounder, though I think Zbikowski and Abiamiri are legit first rounders. How a Nd OL is on that list befuddles me. Samardzija, like Harris, might drop due to lack of pure talent (I don't think he has a lot of speed). Keep in mind that in the past few years, NFL teams are much more willing to gamble on talent than they are with picking a good player who may not have the best physical attributes.

well first off its a senior list, and the senior class is weak this year to say the least. As for Quinn not being a first rounder thats ridiculous, I hope your not basing that on his awful performance against Michigan, because I don't know of any QB in the country who could perform well under that pressure, lack of running the ball, and trailing that much early on(offense becomes much more predictable when your trailing by three TD's early in the game) not to mention silly mistakes(Carlson's tip catch that resulted in a TD, Grimes fumble on a kickoff return that resulted in a TD) Quinn has played well in many games where he was pressured, he played a good game beating you guys in a hostile environment last year(bottles were throw) outplayed Leinart until that 4th and 9 play, played well despite being pressure all day long against OSU(threw for 300 yards and no ints) played well in the GTech game despite receivers dropping balls, and being pressured all game long, same goes for the UCLA game. So regardless of what you think Quinn has more than shown his worth thus far. Just imagine if he played behind that OSU line.

As for Kipers views on this, I have to think they're accurate, because Kiper doesn't come up with this stuff himself, he bases his information on the info NFL scouts, and GM's give him

In this week's edition of the Sporting News the "war room scouts" say that Harris has first round talent but is currently playing at 3rd/4th round level because of intensity and aggressiveness

And I think Spencer beat him like a rented mule. (thanks Mike Lang)

Scratch my back like a hacksaw guff, reps for the Mike Lang reference. Have you been watching the young stars shine this year?

I LOVE vv! DANCE, HATER MONKEY, DANCE!

Quinn is not a 1st rounder? Well, as long as you insist. I insist that you're a booger-eater.

Samardzija, the guy who will be drafted in 2 professional sports, doesn't have enough pure talent? Is speed a talent or just being athletic? Either way, it's called speed to size ratio. He's fast for his size, get it?

NFL teams are more likely tp pick a guy with talent than someone who may not have the best physical attributes? Thanks for the insight Einstein. How do you not have a front office job in the NFL with that kind football genius?

Once again, a guy who lives in his parent's basement is a better judge of talent than Mel Kiper, a paid professional.

I think Troy might get a looka at qb, but i think he,s more a running back in the pros. Has great vision and the athleticism to do whatever he wants with the ball. I see him as a Michael Robinson but with more skill at qb.

Shark doesn't have enough speed? I guess perception trumps reality in today's sporting events. I am sick of everyone explaining away Jeff and Zibby's sheer footspeed with quotes such as he has a lot of heart of he plays with a high motor. Just because someone lacks some pigmentation, doesn't take away someone's God given ability. How many times is the Shark going to have to make a game altering play in order for him to get the credit he deserves. He is an elite talent that is one of the game's best playmakers and would have even more if Quinn wasn't looking out of his earhole for most of the game or on his back. Give me a break, he is one of if not the best reciever in college and should be a high first rounder!

Sorry I stopped reading that idiot's post when he said Quinn wasn't a first rounder. Quinn, the consensus top 3 pick.

Quinn is not a first rounder. First of all, he doesn't have the talent. For a guy who's not very mobile, and doesn't have a good deep ball, he's a huge liability. Worse, he's inconsistent. In the parity NFL, you don't get first half mulligans. Secondly, I said this before and I'll say it again, he can't throw under pressure. Ok, he can't. Stop pretended that he can. He only does well with MAX PROTECTION. How many NFL teams can protect a QB at all. I mean, for at least 80% of the teams out there, the QB has to take hits, and almost all QBs in the NFL hear footsteps. Kinda reminds me of Drew Bledsoe, except with a lesser arm.

In today's NFL, there are only two types of successful QBs. The traditional one (big, strong, great arm, keep defenses honest) and the new, mobile ones. Quinn doesn't fit either profile. Troy Smith does. That's the difference, whether you like it or not.

Yes! More vv and his ridiculous dribble!

KEEP DANCING HATER MONKEY! DANCE MONKEY DANCE!

I would love to see your face when BQ signs that HUGE contract and goes in the top 3. You'll never come out of your mom's basement again.

BTW, you should have your Skunkbear card revoked for even suggesting that an OSU quarterback is good.

DANCE MONKEY DANCE!
