I have a wedding to go to........what a poor bastard. At least it was scheduled on ND's bye week!

Damnit, once again, what is the deal with weddings during football season? Even if it is ND's bye week, lucky planning there, but there is still other great games on. NO WEDDINGS DURING FOOTBALL SEASON!! For you single guys out there on this board, please remember that rule. This has to be put in the "Man Law" book sometime soon.

September and October are big wedding months.

Thankfully, being involved with a teacher, she prefers a June wedding while school is out.

Thus, I am not missing anything come fall. And that's okay with me.

Last year I had to go to a wedding (wife's friend NOT mine) during the Georgia/Florida game. Needless to say, all the guys found a TV. Groom's dad kicks us out of the TV room so we all end up in the friggin' parking lot listening to Larry Munson, smoking and drinking.

No Fall Weddings.

I think it should be a Man Law that if you have a buddy dumb enough to plan a wedding during football season, you are under no obligation to go. Further, because of said blunder in scheduling, he should forfeit his right to a wedding present. Hopefully, this punishment will serve as a reminder to him the NEXT time he gets married. There's always a next time.

I too have to go to a dog beach. What is it with women and dog beaches? Sounds like a good idea until you get there. It's exactly what you would think it is. Wet smelly dogs on beach full of excrement. Fun. "Let's take pictures!"

If you have time, check out UCF & Pitt Friday night on ESPN. Trying to get my team a little more attention. I have a kinship with our coach George O'Leary...we both love Notre Dame but just didn't have the grades to get in!

My wife wanted a fall wedding, and we planned it around the Irish. I'll be working on my bar this weekend, both days since the Colts have a bye as well.
