How does he have those four SEC team ahead of ND? LSU has two loses, Auburn lost to an unranked team, Georgia got run out of their own house, and yeah Arkansas had a major upset but that alone shouldn't jump them that high. It's erroneus!

I'm just glad John Saunders ABC doesn't vote...he's at the top of the ND Hater's list.

meh...i'll be thrilled if the irish can remain in the top ten when the final rankings are issued for the year. a top ten finish is a strong season for us and continues recruiting momentum.

Most surprising: the two AP voters picking WV #1 are from Cali. WTF???
Yep....I had to look that up:

Kevin Pearson Riverside (CA) Press-Ent - kpearson@PE.com
Scott Wolf Los Angeles Daily News - scott.wolf@dailynews.com

I just emailed them to see if they're alums or just on drugs. :)

Pearson explains his vote each week and completely omitted any mention of WVU at the top spot.

Nothing in print from Wolf about his vote.

Maybe they're trying to enhance USC's chances of meeting WV in the nc game, rather than Florida or Michigan (assuming M beats O$U).

God am I paranoid.

Maison, the winner of the tOSU-scUM game is going to the NC game. Book it.

And yes, both will be unbeaten that day.

Yeah, you're right. If they both make it through unbeaten.

Michigan and Florida have a tough couple of weeks ahead of them. I would not be shocked if one or the other drops a game.

Nah...Michigan is focused...they will grind out wins until they play tOSU. They will win that day, I am pretty sure of that. OSU looks good, but UM looks focused...like they are on a mission.

i dont have a problem with Herbie's vote, I would put us at 10, so 11 is that bad (for now)

Florida is going to lose to somebody. Their road is just too tough and they are just not that dominant. They are a great team, but the phrase "on any given day" was probably invented for SEC football. I still don't believe Arkansas is better than Auburn, but they beat them. Auburn takes Florida out and plays the role of the spoiler.

Michigan beats tOSU. I would love to see how tOSU responds to adversity. So far they have jumped on everyone earlier and road it out.

For Florida to beat Auburn, Auburn's second home loss in a row, that would be pretty tough. I think they take UGA hands down.

Florida seems to have everything going their way. That Tebow "jump pass" was absolutely stupid. The look on Urban Meyer's face said it all.

They're getting everything to fall the way they want it. I think Auburn takes them this weekend.

auburn is too one dimensional to beat florida.I almost want to say that georgia has a better chance after florida has played two tough teams.
Don't count vandy out as the spoiler special after florida has played three tough teams as well.
two unlikely teams, but starnger things have happened.
