hey whats the rules for going for it on 4th down? im up 21-14 with 3:38 to go in the 4th and i had 4th and 2 and i went for it and got the 1st then the VA guy message me after he Quits the game saying i cant do that. i see no rules on the 1st post, told him im willing to start the game where we left off cause there is No way im restarting this from the start cause i got this Game.

Nope definitely against the rules. You also can't wear any alternate jerseys, no 5 WR sets, you can't call a TO in the 4th quarter, no black QBs, no triple option, and most importantly you must use at least one of the Notre Dame playbooks.

Damn i broke afew Rules then, i used two 5 WR sets, i changed my Jerseys, i didnt use any ND Playbook and my Back up QB who is Black came out to hold the Ball on the Extra Point.

Going for it in that situation seems like it would be cool, unless you were inside of your own 20 or something, then I would understand where he is coming from. i was at the 50 and it was 4th and 2 but early on he went for it 4th and 6 when he could have kicked a FG but i didnt care.

i have play in Sim Leagues before and this would have not been a Problem, you see a lot of College Teams going for it on 4th and 2 or less. He was telling me he wanted his Stats so i ran the clock out and he got his Stats. The only thing he had was that 106 KO Return but after that i stop his return Game.

it was a Good Game all around just wish he didnt Quit, on that 4th i got down inside his 15 Yard line so i was set up to get another TD but just downed it.

most of his passing plays he would roll out didnt stay in the pocket much at all, he like running to the left on KO's so for you guys that have to play him look out for those.
he will call pass plays and just run with the QB also with out first looking for a open WR.

Ok.. now for the disputed game. (it wouldnt be a dynasty without some controversy haha)

He messaged me his thoughts, and I read what you said in this thread. I'm going to leave it be, going for it on 4th and 3 at basically mid field isn't a form of cheesing. I'm fairly positive I would have done the exact same thing. You dont get it, he still has to travel half the field just to tie the game, and in the event he does, you'd have about 2 or a little less minutes to drive and win by a field goal.

I'll send him the exact same message and hope he doesn't take it personal and quit or something. It's just a game, and for the most part everyone in this league doesn't pull some amateur hour playing.

Plus I'd feel really really horrible if I simmed your game one week and threw out the results the very next. hahahaha jk
