Will the MSU game be a shootout like last year?

Just curious what you guys are thinking about how the MSU game will unfold. At first I was thinking it would be a high scoring, pass-fest with bioth teams raking up 400-500 yards and 30 something points.

I now am thinking much differently. I think both teams are gonna have success running the ball which will effectively shorten the game (both teams getting fewer possessions). I think we will win a nailbiter.

I am expecting a shotout. We have not shown that we can slow down an offense like MSU's, but they have a defense that we should be able to pass and run on. I think the game turns on use of the clock and who has the ball last. Don't think I'll sleep well this Saturday.

I think the first drive dictates what the rest of the game looks like.
If ND receives and drives the ball efficiently downfield and scores...I'm looking for a blowout.
If they struggle on their first drive, through mistakes, penalties and inaccurate passing, look for a long hard day.
Confidence needs to be re-instilled regardless of what Jeff said yesterday to the press.
