Jimmy Clausen (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) hopes he won't be watching Notre Dame get blown out from the sidelines once he arrives on campus next year to begin his freshman season.

That was the case yesterday, with Clausen on an official visit where he saw Michigan dominate his future team 47-21.

Clausen joined fellow Notre Dame commits Mike Ragone (Cherry Hill, N.J./Camden Catholic) and Andrew Nuss (Asburn, Va./Stone Bridge) as well as undecided prospects like ESPN 150 cornerback Gary Gray (Columbia, S.C./Richland Northeast), Joseph Barksdale (Detroit, Mich./Cass), Malcolm Smith (Woodland Hills, Calif/Taft) and Lorenzo Edwards (Orlando/Edgewater) at the game.

Clausen will fly back to California where Monday he will be among the first players named to the U.S. Army All-American team along with teammate Marc Tyler and defensive tackle Marvin Austin (Washington, D.C./Ballou).

Hopefully, now Brady will settle down and our OL will give him time to do what got him here in the first place. As for our "running game" or lack there of your guess is as good as mine.
