How does a play get from CW's head into the huddle and out of BQ's mouth?

Unless I'm mistaken college football doesn't use the in-helmet audio, I don't see the any backup QB flashing signals. How does it work?

It's a little-known fact, but Charlie Weis's football coaching skills are actually his mutant super-power. He was originally a charter student at Charles Xavier's School For Gifted Children, and it was Professor Xavier himself who helped Charlie harness his mutant abilities for the greater good. It was Xavier who also steered Weis toward attending the University of Notre Dame to further that end.

Weis's mutant status has also gifted him with a weak telepathic sense, but he's developed it to be just strong enough that he can project his play-calling directly into Brady Quinn's mind.
