Excellent read, kid is a fighter. 5 days without eating, puking at the pregame tailgate, but determined to watch the Irish play. Sounds like he's an ND man. Prayers for Sam and the Grewe family.

Heard that Sam made the Freshman Basketball team. Sam is truly to an inspiration to us all.

Don't know if anyone outside of those in Northen Indiana kept up with this kid or not.

In 2015 Sam Grewe won the Gold Medal at the Paralympic Track And Field World Championships competing in the high jump.

In 2016 Sam won the Silver Medal at the Paralympics in Rio in the high jump.

Great Kid, Great Athlete, Great Student, Great Story.

Top it all off, guess where it looks like he's attending this fall????
