I live in Bexley, which is an incredibly rich suburb of Columbus. I'm middle-class, but I know plenty of kids whose parents are millionaires.. I can think of one billionaire that owns a home about a half-mile from where I live.
Ohio $tate has a dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, dirty, sports program. Think Rhett Bomar is bad? Ha!!!!! You have no idea what kind of shit is pulled down here.
The boosters are very close to the team, as you said VictorsValiant, but the families are even closer. They 'take care' of their boys---I'll leave it at that. I guess that's what happens when you have too much money and nothing to do with it.. you try to get involved with the local celebrities. The only problem is that in Columbus, they are of the 18-22 year-old variety.
I know of a couple NCAA violations.. some involving one Mr. Troy "I'm uncomfortable in the pocket" Smith. But I'd never say a word. Notre Dame needs programs like Ohio $tate; there can be no good without evil.
