In making that statement I was actually not referring to DW in any way...what I was commenting on was I don't think we should ever compromise...ever! I am hoping and praying that DW has gotten stronger, faster, and even more elusive then he has been...I want and hope he becomes the greatest back in our history. If not replace him and lets kick some serious butt! This isn't a popularity contest gentlemen it is big time college football. In my young prime I couldn't even carry DW's shoes...as a fan(atic) I get to comment on the daily goings on of my beloved team...what a country!! hahaha

Guff, I agree that we should all be able to express ourselves...but happy with what we have?

I am not asking for Reggie Bush...those guys are one in a million.

I just want DW to play like Jerome Harrison or Adrian Peterson.

He has that potential.

TT seems to do better than walker sometimes, because the defense assumes that when the backup comes in, maybe its just to rest DW or because he is a better pass blocker. Also, they have very different running styles so when a defense preps to play against one running back with that running style, a differemt running back will sometimes have success.

Ok just for the sake of argument I watched the Fiesta again.......Lord where to start... LMI you are absolutely correct...
We need to get better in every single aspect of the game...
I'll tell you who had a seriously crappy game... Smarj! He dropped more passes in that game than he had all season. The OL got smoked.......no wait, let me just go back to what I said b4....we had better get much better in every aspect of the game... Ok guys I think I'm finally ready to put this post to bed....for now! lol...next

We lost that game because after the first possession for each team (7-7) it appeared as if CW changed up the gameplan to a more ball control offense to make up for OSU's explosive offense. (similar to the USC game) We stopped putting a man on BJ Hawk everyplay and he killed us especially in that second half. Also, we forced many turnovers in the USC game including two picks in field goal territory so that helped. I feel like if CW kept to the original gameplan the game would have been a shootout in the 40's and we may have been able to pull out on top. Or atleast prove we have the best offense in the country.

I just watched some highlights of the ND-O$U game and yes, I take back my comment. Both are great backs, it's almost unfortunate that they can't both be the main guy.

Yeah, I really like TT's heart and breakaway speed. But his inability to make people miss (like DW) is a limiter.

Combine the two and you have a Heisman candidate.
