This is strictly based on the football I have seen. I assume grades, criminal record, etc. are fine. Don't care much about 40 yard dash times either. Just what I see on the video reels. Shouldn't be many surprises as these are names we've heard in the last four months where there is some kind of mutual interest.
CB Ryan Broyles 5-11/168/4.51 Norman (OK) Norman
-Great cover guy. Probably a tough grab out of Oklahoma.
WR Toney Clemons 6-2/190/4.5 New Kensington (PA) Valley
- I rate him in the same tier as Richard Jackson. He's as good as anyone they took last year at WR
OLB Andrew Dailey 6-2/209/4.5 Massillon (OH) Washington
- He's awesome. I often refer to him as a "missle". An ND offer could seal the deal.
WR Drew Davis 6-0/195/4.54 Denver (CO) Montbello
- I think he's better than Clemons. ND isn't showing much interest.
RB Darren Evans 6-0/207/4.6 Indianapolis (IN) Warren Central VIRGINIA TECH
-Not the home run hitter some of you crave. 3.4 GPA
DE/DT Everson Griffen 6-4/266/4.46 Avondale (AZ) Agua Fria
- Again, losing Austin and getting this guy at DT would not bother me much. He is rising to Richetti Jones type status on the Jigga meter.
RB Robert Hughes 6-0/220/4.6 Chicago (IL) Hubbard ND OFFER
-As a running back, HE administers punishment. Love his style.
LB Blaine Irby 6-2/224/4.58 Ventura (CA) St. Bonaventure TEXAS
- I like him at linebacker, but he'd make a sweet fullback.
DT Nick Jenkins 6-2/282/- Damascus (MD) Good Counsel
ATH Malachi Lewis 6-3/215/4.4 Oxnard (CA) Rio Mesa
- Just find this guy a position. Svoboda brought him to my attention and I've been sold since I saw the film.
DT Gary McClellan 6-4/314/- Arkadelphia (AR) Arkadelphia
- Size and strength are impressive. Kind of a sleeper.
DT Donte'e Nicholls 6-2/270/4.9 Pompano Beach (FL) Ely
- I think he embodies that "nasty" attitude that Coach Weis preaches. Duke and Florida have offered.
S Evan Rodriguez 6-2/211/4.6 North Bergen (NJ) North Bergen
- He'd probably go to Penn State with an offer, but Weis could get in there with the Jersey Connection. Great hitter, run stopper.
CB Christian Scott 6-0/185/4.4 Dallas (TX) Skyline
- Listed as a safety/athlete, I think he'd make a great corner. Loves to hit; physical. Could be tough to grab out of Big 12 Country. I believe he has "the gene."
MLB Brian Smith 6-2/220/4.6 Overland Park (KS) St. Thomas Aquinas
- Whatever he hits goes down at the point of contact. Legacy of not, this guy can play.
ATH Malcolm Smith 6-2/200/4.4 Woodland Hills (CA) Taft
- Despite brother Steve at USC, he has an interest in Notre Dame. RB or LB.
OL Miles Stroter 6-5/329/5.1 Chicago (IL) King
- I think he's a tackle, but he could provide depth at guard if James Wilson goes to Florida. Coach Mendoza would work with him.
OL Matt Summers-Gavin 6-5/271/5.1 San Francisco (CA) St. Ignatius College Prep
- He can play any one of the three O-line positions. I like him at center.
DT Myles Wade 6-1/316/5.1 Portland (OR) Benson Tech OREGON
- Jason Kates was a four star DT and ND offered him. What am I missing with Wade?
LB Marshall Williams 6-2/198/4.5 Lilburn, GA Parkview AUBURN
- Teammate of Caleb King who could come to ND with or without King for all I care. Would make a nice OLB.

- I've had him on the radar for a while now. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Probably too late; I think he's a strong Penn State lean.VIRGINIA
